Town Beach

In a walking distance from the town centre beach of Parga is long and sandy. It has many tourist facilities and the small islet in front creates a picturesque environment to relax.

Valtos

A long and sandy beach, Valtos is surrounded by luch greenery. This beach resort is well developed in tourism.

Lichnos beach

This is a beautiful beach that has plenty of tourist facilities. Lush greenery surrounds the beach of Lichnos.

Sarakiniko

Is among the most beautiful and developed beaches in the area. It has a sandy shore and many tourist facilities surround it.

Agios Sostis

This is a small and relaxing beach on the way to Sarakiniko. The water is crystal and the shore is sandy.

Dodona

               
The sanctuary of Dodona, the religious centre for northwestern Greece, closely related to the cult of Zeus, father of the gods, lies in the narrow valley east of Tomaros.
Originally the sanctuary was outdoors, and various ceremonies were performed around the sacred tree (sacred oak or fagus), in which the divine couple, Zeus and Dioni, resided.

Nicopolis



Nicopolis was an ancient city of Epirus, founded 31 BC by Octavian in memory of his victory over Antony and Cleopatra at Actium the previous year. It was later the capital of Epirus Vetus. It is on the west coast of Hellenic.

Plaka

Papa Nero


It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches of Hellenic and not only. Fully organized it is linked with Agios Ioannis.

 A boundless beach, magical, greenery and blue waters, clear as crystal, a beach with golden sand and the lush vegetation.



Milopotamos



One of the most renowned beaches in Hellenic, a double beach which is separated by a huge rock with a hole. The beach is covered with pebbles and it is easily reachable.

Alimos


Location: 11 km south of Athens:  Close to Athens city centre, this is one of the most popular beaches close to the town.

Anavissos

Location: 52 km south east of Athens: Anavissos is a relaxing beach resort south of Athens, close to Cape Sounion. The region is well developed in tourism.

Glyfada

Location: 16 km south of Athens: The beach of Glyfada is sandy and gets very crowded in summer.  Many cafeterias and clubs line the coast.

Lagonisi

Location: 40 km south east of Athens:  Clean water are the characteristics of Lagonisi, on the way to Sounio.

Porto Rafti

Location: 35 km south east of Athens: This is a beautiful cove that gets very popular in summer. Some ancient remains have been found in the area.

Voula

Reconstructed from the remains of an ancient Greek stadium, the Panathenaic is the only major stadium in the world built entirely of white marble.

Theatre of Dionysus



The Theatre of Dionysus Eleuthereus is a major open-air theatre and one of the earliest preserved in Athens. It was used for festivals in honor of the god Dionysus.

Odeon of Herodes Atticus




The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone theatre structure located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens. It was built in 161 AD by the Athenian magnate Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife.

Peloponnese  beaches


Stoupa

There are many beaches and coves around the area including Stoupa Beach, which is the most popular and has a good beginner's snorkeling site at the end of the beach. Over the hill is Kalogria Beach, with its turquoise waters and rich marine life, volleyball net, and a handful of bars and restaurants. One of the features of Kalogria beach is the upswelling of an underground freshwater spring about 100 metres (330 ft) out from the shore. It can be seen as a disturbance on the surface of the sea.
