Panathenaic Stadium

Panathenaic Stadium or Panathinaiko (Greek: Παναθηναϊκό στάδιο, also known as
the Kallimarmaro is an athletic stadium in Athens that hosted the first modern
Olympic Games in 1896. Reconstructed from the remains of an ancient Greek
stadium, the Panathenaic is the only major stadium in the world built entirely
of white marble.
Theatre of Dionysus
The Theatre
of Dionysus Eleuthereus is a major open-air theatre and one of the earliest
preserved in Athens. It was used for festivals in honor of the god Dionysus.
Odeon of Herodes Atticus
The Odeon
of Herodes Atticus is a stone theatre structure located on the southwest slope
of the Acropolis of Athens. It was built in 161 AD by the Athenian magnate
Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife.
